Linn improved to .500 with a big TVL win at home over Valley Heights who had been scoring at a high rate to start this season and was ranked in the latest polls. It was a tight ball game but the Bulldogs prevailed with 15 points coming from senior, Hazel Hornbostel, while Nicole Ohlde added 10 points. In the loss Valley Heights freshman, Brandi Roepke tallied 18 points and Sidney Blackburn posted 14 points.
