Up 19-6 at the half Troy used a 29-0 second half to cruise to the win over Horton. The Trojans ran for 377 yards with Tysen Williams rushing for 138 yards on 14 carries with 2 TDs, Kipp Jasper was 3-7 for 71 yards with a TD and ran for 108 yards on 15 carries with a TD. Marcus Martinez kicked 27 and 23-yard field goals for Troy, while Reid Jasper ran 4 times for 54 yards with a TD and caught 2 passes for 24 yards with a TD. Jacob Moore ran for 77 yards on 13 carries with a TD.
Troy outgained Horton 448 to 113 yards of total offense and the Chargers also had three turnovers. Mathew Lobdell tossed a 21-yard TD pass to Nathan Isaacs for the lone Horton score.
