For the fourth year in a row the Sabetha Bluejays won an opening round playoff game in the 3A playoffs beating Maur Hill for the second straight season in the first round of the playoffs. Bluejays led 7-0 after the 1st quarter and then posted a 27-7 2nd quarter and 22-0 3rd quarter to cruise to the win. Wyatt Beyer finished with 120 yards on 10 carries with 2 TDs, while Brandon Brownlee was 2-4 for 77 yards with a TD and TD run. Gabe Garber added 94 yards on 8 carries with 2 TDs, while Mason Engelken ran for 85 yards on 10 carries with 2 TDs and Riley Hermann added a 67 yard TD reception.
In the loss Maur Hill was outgained by Sabetha 470 to 196 yards total yards offense. Jack Caudle was 17-36 for 176 yards with 2 TDs, while Colton Kocour caught 9 passes for 98 yards with a TD. Jared Thibault also had a TD reception.
