Sabetha worked to a 21-6 lead by halftime and took advantage of 3 Perry Lecompton turnovers along with runing for 440 yards to earn the win. The Bluejays set a new State record for rush attempts during a game with 88 with Joe Gruber leading the way with 176 yards on 24 carries with 2 TDs, while Mason Engelken added 71 yards on 16 carries. Gabe Garber ran for 81 yards on 15 carries with a score and Brandon Brownlee added a rushing TD.
Dalton Kellum led Perry Lecompton in the loss going 8-21 for 101 yards with a TD and 20 carries for 31 yards. Colton Mallonee caught the TD pass as the Kaws had only 141 yards of total offense.
