Sabetha Bluejays are headed to the Sub-State round of the playoffs for the first time since 2006 after a dominating win over Osage City. Game tied at 7-7 after the first quarter saw Sabetha bust the contest open with a 21-0 second quarter and secured the win with a 14-0 third quarter. Sabetha notched 637 yards of total offense in the win, while Osage City had 221 yards of total offense.
Joe Gruber finished with 164 yards on 20 carries with a 26-yard TD reception from Brandon Brownlee, while Joel Hackney ran for 134 yards on 15 carries with 2 TDs and Mason Engelken added 125 yards on 11 carries with 2 TDs. Wyatt Beyer chipped in 97 yards on 17 carries with a TD, while Gabe Garber ran for 2 rushing TDs.
