Battle of Top 10 1A-DI teams went down to the wire as Centralia led 34-25 at halftime over Valley Falls building a big as a 13-point lead in the second quarter. Valley Falls used a 13-5 run in the third quarter to draw within one and then took a lead late in the quarter. The Panthers secured the win with late free throws in the final five seconds and Reagan Kirkwood hit a buzzer beating three-pointer to make it a one-point in the final score column.
Madison Lueger led Centralia with 17 points, while Morgan Kramer added 16 points. Both Katie Glatczak and Maegan Koch each tallied 10 points for the Panthers. Valley Falls was led by Kirkwood who had 20 points, while Allison Kearney scored 14 points and Drew Delong added 10 points. Rachel Frakes also scored 9 points fo rthe Dragons.
