TVL Tournament (at Onaga) - Consolation Game
Wetmore and Washington County did battle again for the second time this year and once again it was a tight ball game this time decided in regulation as Washington County behind a strong day from the free throw line earned the 58-56 win over Wetmore in the TVL Tournament consolation games. Wetmore led 15-10 after the first quarter but an 11-6 second stanza tied the game at the half. The Tigers closed out the game going 12-18 from the free throw line in the fourth and 23-32 in the game to earn the win. The win moves Washington County to 6-6 on the season as they were led by Tess Cecrle who scored 16 points, while Holly Delay scored 12 points and Grace Otott added 10 points including 8-10 from the line (6-6 in fourth quarter). Wetmore with the loss falls to 5-6 on the year and was led by Jill Henry who scored 18 points and McKayla Henry added 11 points.
