Up 35-29 at the half Holton saw Royal Valley post a 13-8 third quarter to tighten the contest but the Wildcats earned the win. Holton went 27-38 from the free throw line and was led by Shay Tanking who scored 20 points going 12-20 from the free throw line, while Lauryn Moore netted 12 points and Maleah Price tallied 10 points. Tamo Thomas led Royal Valley with 21 points, while Marlissa Jordan scored 11 points.
