The Wildcats jumped to an 8-2 lead and added to their lead all night going ahead 33-15 at halftime.  Trent Tanking then scored 9 of his game high 21 points in the third quarter to improve Holton to 6-1 in league play.  Cameron Karn scored 8 points in the first quarter for the Wildcats who improved to 3-0 in 2013.  Tyler Shaffer and James Sage each scored 10 for Santa Fe Trail who had 19 turnovers in the home loss.
