Jackson Heights’ first two shutouts weren’t a complete shock, coming against Horton and Atchison County. But the Cobras figured to be really tested by a Maur Hill team which was averaging 48 points and more than 400 yards per game. Heights’ defense was up to the task, pitching its third straight shutout in a 14-0 win, holding the Ravens to just 138 total yards.
