Wetmore went on the road in search of win number two this year and lead their opponent Troy 23-17 at the half, but Troy used a 20-9 to gain the lead and control of the game and held on for a five point home win.
Troy was lead by Jake Ross with 16 points and key steals in the 4th quarter. Trevor Bembrick and Collin Jasper each added 13 and 11 points apiece for the Trojans. Wetmore had a trio in double figures also, with Jermey Hoelscher lead them with 13 points. Dustin Boeckman and Kyle Shumaker added 12 and 10 points each for the Cardinals.
