It was a dominate performance from the horn for the B&B Falcons against the Wildcats of Frankfort scoring 50 points in the first half to end the game at the half. B& B scored on their initial drive of the ball game taking it down the field and putting it in the endzone on a 33 yard TD pass from Dustin Rottinghaus to Cameron Haug. Rottinghaus would go on to do more damage rushing for two touchdowns (1 & 3 yards). Rottinghaus finished the game 7-13 69 yards TD & INT plus 8 carries for 82 yards and 2 TD's.
After the first quarter B&B led 36-0 with Dustin Deters getting a rushing TD (14 yards) and Blake Deters taking an interception back 50 yards for TD , to go along with Rottinghaus' three first quarter TD's. In the second quarter Frankfort stopped B&B a couple of times, but ultimately, backup B&B quarterback, Dylan Schmitz orchestrated two more touchdown drives for the Falcons in the waning minutes of the first half. Schmitz ran for a 29 yard score and threw a 18 yard TD pass to Tyler Deters with about 20 seconds left in the first half for the game ending score.
Schmitz finished 4-5 52 yards TD and 3 carries for 34 yards TD; Tyler Deters had 5 receptions for 46 yards and TD, while Cameron Haug had 4 rec. for 72 yards and TD.
For Frankfort nothing went right on the night as they had multiple turnovers and only registered a total of 42 yards of offense. Wildcats were also plagued by mistakes on special teams as B&B in an effort to keep the ball out of Frankfort playmakers hands (Lucas Adams & Calahan Brown) kicked plenty of onside kicks and recovered a few.
