Holton led 14-0 before Jeff West took an offensive snap and rolled to a 48-0 halftime advantage on homecoming. Cameron Karn scored on 10, 17, and 57 yard runs while Trent Tanking added a 19 yard rushing score and Drake Ewing took a 39 yard run to the house. Jaxon Wright tossed a 19 yard TD pass to Tyler Burdiek and an 11 yard score to Lane Lassiter as the Wildcats post their sixth lopsided victory of the season. The Wildcats have won every game by at least 5 touchdowns and are ranked #1 in Class 4A. Fort Scott and St. James in the east are the only other 4A teams still unbeaten in 2012.
