One week after Troy got their first win of the season (8-6 vs. Jackson Heights) to start district play, it was Valley Heights notching their first victory of the year with a dominating effort to put both teams at 1-1 in district play.
Tanner Trimble had a 97 yard run to open the scoring then Gage Woodyard had an 86 yard pick-six. Tanner Trimble added a 44 yard run to make it 20-0 before Troy got on the board with a 7 yard TD pass from Colin Jasper to Preston Foley. Cole Maddox and Derek Trimble added second half rushing scores for Valley Heights to cap the scoring.
