The Raiders had a chance to finish with an undefeated league record with a win against rival Sabetha on the road and the accomplished that feat, winning the Big Seven league small division crown.
Nemaha Valley down early in the game didn't get shaken as they been in that predicament before and just like before the Raiders fought back for the win. Led by junior quarterback, Caleb Meyer 12-19 139 yards TD fought back, but Meyer got more help, also. Creighton Brinker caught Meyer's TD pass (17 yards), while flanker, Alex Rottinghaus tossed a TD pass on a reverse to Justice McKernan for 13 yards. McKernan finished the night with 83 yards receiving and TD catch. Rottinghaus had an interception on defense to his night.
Sabetha got a late safety in the ball game that Nemaha Valley gifted them, with the lone Bluejays touchdown coming on a 72 yard connection from Garrett Schmann to Taylor Bauman.
