It was a tight ball game in district play but it was a tale of two quarters on the night as Washington County who fell to Bennington by one point, led at the half 29-8, but Bennington scored all the points in the second half with all 22 coming in the fourth quarter.
The rushing attack numbers for both teams were particularly even but it was the passing game that was a big difference as Bennington passed for 157 yards to 28 by Washington County.
Tigers offense came at the hands of Wyatt Durst on the ground rushing for 108 yards for 15 carries and two TD's (12 & 9 yards), quarterback, Andrew Tiemeyer ran for a 5 yard TD and Zach Ottot had a 45 yard INT return TD.
