Both teams in search of their first district win this season played desperate to earn a win and the Eagles came out on top.
After a sluggish start to the game with the offense, the Eagles struck first with a Aaron Schmelzle TD run, but Frankfort answered back with a TD on the next drive as Wildcat quarterback, Alex Surdez tossed a 15 yard TD pass to Jake Rose for a 8-6 lead over Axtell.
After that it was the Taylor Platt and Aaron Schmelzle rushing attack show for the Eagles who paced their way to the 50-14 win. Platt registered near 180 yards and 3 TD runs, while Schmelzle added nearly 140 yards rushing and 4 TD's.
For Frankfort, Surdez doubled his passing yards total in just this game going 6-16 for 117 yards and a TD, while Lucas Adams scored the other TD for the Wildcats registering nearly 80 yards on the ground and 59 yards receiving.
