Riverside for only the second time in their consolidated school history earned a playoff spot as the Cyclones topped Horton in the regular season finale. Riverside worked out to a 36-13 lead after just the first quarter of action and had Andrew Miller go 7-9 for 60 yards with 2 TDs and run 6 times for 80 yards with a TD. Gage Olivero ran for 212 yards on 11 carries with 5 TDs, while Bryer Miller ran for 91 yards on 10 carries. Grant Shue and Levi Watson each had a TD catch.
Horton in the loss had 2 turnovers and was led by Cameron Smith who was 9-19 for 123 yards with a TD pass to Sage Lewis. Conner Dean had an 85-yard kickoff return TD.
