Centralia locked up the district championship and a spot in the playoffs yet again with another dominating performance, only allowing 6 points to Doniphan West.
Rushing attack of JT Rosine and Sam Steinlage lead the way for the Panthers again. Rosine rushed for 180 yards on 14 carries and 3 TD's (45, 12, 6), while Steinlage added 3 rushing scores of his own (3,8, 61). Steinlage added a pick six on defense with a 30 yard interception return. Turner added a 43 yard TD run.
The Mustangs lone score came at the hands of the quarterback, Tristan Speer on a 15 yard TD pass to Cooper Leach.
The Panthers currently hold the longest winning streak in the state of Kansas having won their last 17 games dating back to week four of last year. Centralia will head to the playoffs trying to defend their Class 2-1A state title from last season, but still have one more matchup before the playoffs.
