The Eagles made it two wins in a row beating Blue Valley by 20 points. And for the second straight week it was the Eagles rushing attack of Taylor Platt and Aaron Schmelzle leading the way.
Schmelzle carried the ball 16 times for 122 yards and 2 scores, while Platt carried it 15 times for 105 yards and TD, while Platt and Schmelzle also connected on a 36 yard TD pass. Tyler Jones and Shane Talbot both added rushing TD's each on the day of 21 & 36 yards, respectively.
Levi Peters for the Rams in the loss had a great game with 2 rushing TD's (15 & 1) and 2 passing TD's (to Ross and Redding). Peters added 131 yards on 21 carries on the night.
Both teams have been eliminated from the playoff race.
