Sabetha flew out to a 20-9 lead after just the first quarter and led 28-19 at halftime but a 27-19 second half got Hiawatha back into the contest and the Bluejays had to just hold them off. Alec Kirwan led Sabetha with 13 points, while Brock Frey scored 11 points. Joseph Kunkel led Hiawatha with 16 points, while Troy May posted 12 points and Tom Nolte added 9 points.
