1A-DII Blue Valley-Randolph Sub-State Championship (at Randolph) 

Axtell girls are headed to State for the first time since 1988 and only the third time in school history. The Eagles trailed 31-25 at halftime against St. John's/Tipton and after the third quarter trailed 41-39, but a 21-5 fourth quarter by Axtell brought the Eagles back and to the win. Kiersten Talbot and Courtney Heinen each posted 18 points for Axtell, while Bradie Schmitz scored 10 points.
