Sabetha flew out to a 33-6 lead by halftime against Centralia and cruised to the week one win. Trae Synder helped led the Bluejays offense rushing for 214 yards on 13 carries with 3 TDs, while Blake Plattner ran for 90 yards on seven carries with 3 TDs.

Centralia was held to just 66 yards rushing, while Trenton Flentie was 7-19 passing for 137 yards with a TD & 3 INTs. Kamble Haverkamp caught four passes for 104 yards and TD, while Nathan Rempe registered a rushing TD.
