Marysville held a 6-0 lead after the first quarter but an 8-0 third quarter gave Abilene the lead and the win just edging the Bulldogs. Jack Blumer in the loss hit Hunter Warnick for a 15-yard TD and tossed a 51-yard TD to Jayton Haggard for Marysville. Warnick finished with 119 yards on 32 carries, while Blumer was 10-21 for 143 yards and the 2 TDs but four turnovers proved to be costly for the Bulldogs. Marysville did outgain Abilene 268-120 in total yards.
