On Tuesday, April 8, area boys golf teams competed at the Wamego Invitational at Wamego Country Club.
There was a total of 15 teams competing in the tournament and it was the host Red Raiders winning the tournament with a team score of 308.
Circle finished in second place with a score of 328, Tonganoxie in third place with a score of 354, Manhattan in fourth place with a score of 357, and Eudora in fifth place with a score of 358.
Sabetha finished in seventh place with a score of 364, St. Marys finished in eighth place with a score of 374, and Nemaha Central finished in 10th place with a score of 378.
Notable finishes include Jonathan Hart of Rossville finishing in a tie for fourth place with a round of 79, Alex Gallegos of St. Marys and Layton Thomas of Nemaha Central finishing in a tie for eighth place with a round of 80, and Jack Donovan finishing in a tie for 12th place with a round of 83.
Wamego had the top two individual finishes with Regan Kueker shooting a 71 while Wyatt Burch fired a round of 77.
