The high school football season is right around the corner with teams gearing up for their jamborees and/or scrimmages on Friday, Aug. 29. 

• Washington County will be hosting beginning at 5 PM with Axtell and Blue Valley-Randolph. 
• Nemaha Central will be hosting beginning at 6 PM with Centralia and Hiawatha. 
• Clifton-Clyde will be hosting beginning at 6:30 PM with Linn, Osborne, and Rock Hills. 
• McLouth will be hosting beginning at 7 PM with Oskaloosa, Horton, and Doniphan West. 
• Silver Lake will be hosting beginning at 7 PM with Jefferson West, Valley Heights, and Rock Creek. 
• Holton will travel and prepare at Hummer Sports Park beginning at 7 PM. 
• St. Marys will be hosting beginning at 6 PM with Perry-Lecompton participating. 
• Highland Community College will be hosting area teams beginning at 6:30 which include Rossville, Riverside, and Troy. 
• Valley Falls will be hosting a scrimmage which will begin at 7 PM. 
• ACCHS will be hosting Maur Hill-Mount Academy and Cair Paravel beginning at 6 PM. 
• Jefferson County North will have a home scrimmage beginning at 7 PM. 
• Royal Valley and Jackson Heights will be at Mission Valley beginning at 7 PM. 
• Marysville will be hosting featuring Sabetha beginning at 6 PM. 
• Frankfort will be hosting an in-house scrimmage beginning at 6:30 PM. 
• Atchison will travel to Shawnee Heights and take part alongside Hayden beginning at 6 PM. 

Jake and Boz will get everyone ready that night around 6 PM across the networks with a preview show that will talk about area squads plus interviews with head coaches.
