The Jefferson West volleyball team won their first tournament of the season this past weekend at home going a perfect 5-0. 

They didn't drop a single set and defeated Royal Valley (25-18, 25-15), Hiawatha (25-20, 25-22), Horton (25-15, 25-16), Santa Fe Trail (25-16, 25-17), and St. Marys (25-5, 25-10).

Royal Valley finished the day going 4-1 with the lone loss against the Tigers. They defeated Horton (25-15, 25-12), St. Marys (25-15, 25-7), Hiawatha (28-30, 25-17, 25-15), and Santa Fe Trail (25-11, 25-16). 

Hiawatha would finish 2-3 with wins over Horton and St. Marys, Horton finished the tournament 1-4 with their lone win against St. Marys while the Bears finished the day going 0-5.
