Holton Girls Cross Country Win Osage City Invitational

The Holton girls cross country team won the Osage City Invite on Thursday afternoon at Osage City Municipal Golf Course. 

Kennedy Smith led the Wildcats with a fourth place finish, Ava Clayton finished in 13th place, Rebekah Dement in 16th place, and Sophia Goombi in 18th place. 

Silver Lake finished in sixth place as they were led by Alessandra Gerber who finished in fifth place. They also had Adrianna Gerber who finished in 28th place. 

The Holton boys finished in second place behind only Central Heights. Jacob Warner finished in seventh place, Dalton Peters finished in ninth place, and Dominic Lancaster finished in 10th place. 

Behind Central Heights and Holton was Silver Lake who finished in third place. They were led by Hunter Rooks who finished in eighth place, Miles Burgess finished in 11th place, and Cason Kraus finished in 17th place. 

Rossville finished in sixth place and were led by Dalton Verscheldon who finished in 15th place.
