History was made in 2025 as the Troy Lady Trojans brought home the first state tournament trophy in program history, finishing third at the Class 1A-I state basketball tournament. Troy rebounded from a semifinal loss to defeat Quinter 50–36, closing the season with a program-record 23 wins.

The season was packed with milestones. The Lady Trojans won a NEKL title in their first year in the league, returned to the state tournament for the first time since 2002, and notched the program’s first-ever state tournament victory. Harper Whetstine led the team in the third-place game with 25 points, while the senior class—Allie Franken, Gracie Grable, Macy Grable, and Emersen Weber—capped their careers with a historic finish.

With record-breaking achievements, a trophy to celebrate, and a season full of firsts, Troy’s 2025 run stands out as one of the area’s most memorable sports moments of the year, setting a new standard for the program and inspiring future generations of Lady Trojans.
