The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association have released their first rankings post holiday break. 

Area girls teams ranked this week are Silver Lake (#5 3A), Doniphan West (#9 2A), Centralia (#2 1A-I), Clifton-Clyde (#4 1A-I), Troy (#9 1A-I), and Hanover (#1 1A-II). 

Area boys teams ranked this week are Atchison (#6 4A), Rossville (#5 2A), Frankfort (#9 1A-I), Clifton-Clyde (#10 1A-I), Axtell (#2 1A-II), and Hanover (#7 1A-II).
