Holton jumped out to a 17-8 lead after the first quarter but Desoto answered with a 19-9 second quarter to lead 27-26 at the half and added a 16-10 third quarter to take a firm grasp on the win and hand Holton the loss. AJ Haussler led Holton with 23 points, while Bryson Patch scored 20 points.
