Meeting for the third straight year in the second round of the playoffs Holton did battle with Frontenac but this time the game was controlled by Frontenac. Holton led 13-6 after the first quarter but a pair of turnovers and a turnover on downs helped Frontenac outscore Holton 28-0 in the second quarter to lead 34-13 at the half and ultimately take the game.
Holton managed 228 yards rushing but gave up 377 yards total offense to Frontenac (256 yards rushing). Dylan Aeschliman in the loss ran for 80 yards on 13 carries, while AJ Haussler added 88 yards on 12 carries with a TD. Jayger Carson added a rushing TD, while Jackson Martin had 41 yards on 13 carries with a TD.
