Marysville is headed back to the Sub-State round of the playoffs for the first time since 2009 after a win over Cheney. Marysville led 13-8 after the first quarter and were up 24-13 at halftime. The Bulldogs took advantage of turnovers by Cheney as Gabe Pieschl and Jacob Backus each had an interception and Matt Lindhorst recovered a muffed kick. On offense Jack Blumer was 13-22 for 223 yards with 2 TDs, while Backus caught 6 passes for 105 yards with 2 TDs. Atreyau Hornbeak ran the ball 31 times for 112 yards and 3 TDs.
