Holton trailed 8-7 to Desoto after the first quarter but put together a 9-2 second to lead 16-10 at the half. That lead dwindled to one by the end of the third quarter and Desoto ended the game with a 12-8 third quarter to take contest. AJ Haussler led Holton with 19 points, while Mason Chanay scored 12 points.
