TVL Tournament (at Onaga) - Quarterfinals
Valley Heights came into the tournament with some momentum and look to be continuing that as they have now won four in a row (two in the tournament) and won six of the last seven. The latest win coming over Clifton-Clyde won in the first round of the tournament as Valley Heights earned the 58-37 win.
Mustangs galloped out to a 16-6 advantage after one quarter of play and added to their lead behind a 21-12 second quarter using that cushion to push themselves into the Semifinals of the TVL Tournament. The duo of Sam Vermetten and Kayla Smith set the tone for Valley Heights notching 19 and 18 points, respectively helping the Mustangs move to 7-3 on the year. In the loss Adria Girard led Clifton-Clyde with 9 points as the Eagles fell to 8-4 on the season and into the Consolation Semifinals.
