Records coming into the contest were quite different but the game was a close one down to the wire, with the Onaga Buffaloes battling back to snatch the victory from the Wetmore Cardinals who are looking for their first win of the year.
Wetmore lead a majority of the game until late in the fourth quarter when Onaga went on a run to end the game and capture the win, behind a 14-5 4th period. Onaga in the win had three players tally double figures with Thomas Eisenbarth leading the way with 14 points, Jarod Gronewoller adding 12 points and Mitchell Kufahl posting 11 points.
In the loss Wetmore had Ross Boeckman finish with a game high 19 points hitting four 3pters, while Kyle Shumaker added 10 points.
