Connor Strader scored 15 including three treys and 4-4 at the line as Holton won their 105th straight game in the Big 7 and secured a two-game cushion a top the League. Holton made 18 of 29 free throws including 6 of 7 in the fourth quarter and never led by more than 7, but never trailed after taking a 20-17 advantage after one frame. Kyrstie Miller scored 9 of her 11 in the second half. Santa Fe Trail made several runs and tied the game at 26 all just before halftime. Shelby Dahl scored a game high 21 points for the Chargers including a four-point-play to make it a one point game with 3:36 to play. Holly Ullery added 12 for the Chargers who are now 6-2 on the season and had 16 turnovers in the highly anticipated home game.
