Jeff West was down a few players because of injury and then had a couple more injuries during the game, including quarterback Kaden Stones.  Senior Josh Broxterman moved from receiver to step in and take snaps and made the most of them with a 60 yard TD run and a 25 yard TD pass to Carson Brading in the second half. Clay Center led 21-0 at halftime and never looked back improving to 2-0 on the season.
