Holton used a 13-6 fourth quarter to pull away for their 9th straight win to end the regular season and earn a share of the Big 7 League Title for a fourth consecutive season. Ty Burdiek scored 14 while Trent Tanking had 10 of his 12 in the second quarter. Garrett Beecher added 9 and Ryan Haefke 8 for the Wildcats who made 12 of 13 free throws on the night. Sabetha was paced by McKenzie McAfee who scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half and Gaven Schumann scored all his 11 in the third quarter and Sabetha only trailed 36-34 entering the fourth. The Bluejays 6 game win-streak was snapped as they finish 13-7 and Holton ends up 16-4.
