Boys Basketball - Jackson Heights vs Riverside 02/19/2013 7:30 PM

 The Jackson Heights boys won their second straight game to finish with a winning 7-6 record in the DVL.  The win also secured a #3 seed and home game against Troy to begin 2A Sub-State on Monday.  A 14-7 second quarter helped pull the Cobras ahead 28-25 at halftime and then they scored 28 points in the third quarter alone to roll to the win.  Cameron Thomas scored 25 while Caleb Niehues added 21 and Cole Olberding had 15 for Jackson Heights.  Alex Davidson had 14 and Zach Halter 13 for the Cyclones who fall to the #6 boys seed in the Class 3A Hiawatha Sub-State and now must travel to face either Sabetha or Maur Hill/Mount Academy on Tuesday.
