Centralia Panthers continued their strong second half of the season and punched their ticket to Emporia for the Class 1A-DI state tourney for the second straight year, taking down the Hanover Wildcats. Panthers lead it 28-23 at the half and then extended their lead to a nice cushion with a 17-10 3rd quarter. Sam Steinlage and Brett Burdiek accounted for 48 of Centralia's points on the night scoring 26 and 22 points, respectively.
Hanover in the loss was led by Wade Steinfort and Austin Diederich who tallied 16 and 13 points, respectively.
