Class 3A 1st round State tournament --

For the 6th straight year Nemaha Valley punched their ticket to the state tournament and were looking to make it 6 straight years with at least a 4th place finish or better, looking to make it out of the first round and that they did downing Wichita-Independent. Raiders used a quick start to take control 14-4 after the 1st quarter and 29-15 at the half.

Raiders were lead by Creighton Brinker who tallied 19 points and Trent Olberding who posted 12 points.
