Class 1A-Division II 1st round State tournament --

Axtell as the seven seed punched the two seed Central Christian in the mouth early and held on for the win. Eagles lead it 21-11 1st quarter and used three players in double figures to register the win. Aaron Schmelzle lead the way with 24 points, while Payton Heinen added a double-double 15 points and 11 rebounds and Christian Buessing chipped in 11 points, while hitting three 3pters.
