1A State Playoffs - First Round 

Valley Heights' season ends in the first round of the playoffs for the first time since 2019. The Cardinals took the Mustangs out of the game early going up 28-8 at halftime and took care of business in the second half. Valley Heights snuck in the back door of the postseason despite a two-win regular season. Cody Trimble's team finishes the year 2-7.
