Sabetha got the first score of the game, but the Thunder scored 24 unanswered to get the win. They also got the outright Big 7 title, the district title and a perfect 8-0 regular season. The 24 points were the a season low for Nemaha Central, but their defense held their own again as they allowed less than 10 points in three of their last four games. It was also their seventh consecutive game allowing 15 or fewer points. They will host will Pleasant Ridge in the opening round of the playoffs.
