In a 1 vs. 1 matchup again to start the season B&B and Madison didnt disappoint needing overtime to decide the winner of the competition. The Falcons who lead 16-6 at the half needed a drive with 56 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the game and force overtime, as their attempt to win the game in the 4th came up short. In overtime, the Falcons scored but missed the 2-point conversion, while Madison responded with a score and kicked the PAT to win the game by 1-point.
The Falcons only managed 21 yards rushing but quarterback, Dustin Rottinghaus moved the offense through the air going 13-32 for 255 yards and 4 TD passes. Two TD catches went to Blake Deters on 6 rec. for 107 yards, while Cameron Haug caught 5 passes for 108 yards and a TD. Brandon Bergman also caught a TD pass in the contest.
