It was another 1-point thriller between the Troy Trojans and the ACCHS Tigers to open the season this year, this time with Troy coming out on top. Trojan quarterback, Colin Jasper finished the night accounting for three Troy scores tossing a pair of TD passes of 19 & 10 yards to Nathan Gaarder and Cody Israel, respectively and rushing for a 15-yard score. Jasper was 10-18 for 92 yards on the night. Alex Schmille, also got in on the scoring notching a 3-yard TD run.
For the Tigers they struggled to hold onto the ball losing 4 fumbles in the game leading to opportunities for Troy. Kyle Chew did compile 139 yards on the ground on 32 carries and scored twice on the ground, while passing for TD, too. Justin Wagner had a rush TD & TD reception.
