Oskaloosa Bears completed the massive comeback by scoring 22 unanswered points to top Maur Hill-Mount Academy to open the season. Luis Rodriguez lead the Bears rushing for 116 yards on 12 carries and 2 TD's.

Maur Hill was lead by their quarterback, Josh Caudle who was 10-18 for 109 yards and 2 TD passes. Brian Scott caught one of Caudle's TD passes, while Harry Trotter ran for a pair of scores for the Ravens in the loss.
