Washington County started the game off with a bang with a return TD and built upon their lead from there against the Onaga Buffaloes. Andrew Tiemeyer had a pair of interception return scores for the Tigers, while Konner Penning lead the offense at quarterback going 12-18 for 172 yards and a TD pass and rushing for 69 yards and a TD. Matt Bekemeyer was on the receiving end of Penning's TD passes.
Buffaloes did manage to run the ball well in the loss with quarterback, Wyatt Cordell scampering for 221 yards on 19 carries and Michael Bliss tallied 177 yards on 24 carries.
