Despite a comeback attempt in the second half the Frankfort Wildcats opened the season up with a loss to Southern Cloud at home. Down 22-8 at the half the Wildcats outscored Southern Cloud 14-8 in the second half but it wasnt enough. Quarterback, Jase Suther did post 140 yards on the ground and tossed a TD pass to Alex Roeder in the contest. While, Lucas Adames ran for a pair of scores compiling 110 yards on the ground in the process.
